My skin has always been a bit on the dry side, even more so during the winter months. I’ve often found myself constantly reapplying lotion multiple times a day, but to no avail. I could never find a product that absorbed, nourished, and hydrated my skin, not to mention had ingredients that I fully recognized and trusted. It wasn’t until I discovered tallow balms that my skin care routine really opened up and solidified.

What Is Tallow Balm?

Tallow Balm is nature's skin care from rendered beef fat, supplying complete nutrition, hydration, and nourishment. This practice reconnects us to our ancestral roots, making use of the whole animal, nose-to-tail, horns-to-hooves. Bovine tallow obtained from 100% grass-fed animals (rather than grain), results in a higher quality animal and thus a healthier balm for our skin.

Is Tallow Good For Sensitive Skin?

Tallow is ideal for those with super sensitive skin and conditions such as acne, eczema, and rosacea. Tallow serves as a clean and natural moisturizer that has a compatible fat saturation level with our own skin's makeup. Since tallow works well with our skin's natural sebum, this makes it easy for our skin to absorb, without becoming greasy. Tallow is non-comedogenic and doesn’t clog pores… rest assured tallow will work for any type of skin, no matter how unique yours may be.

Is Tallow Good For Dry Skin?

It’s so common to deal with dry or cracked skin, especially during colder times of the year. Tallow is ultra rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K, needed to restore, heal, and maintain skin health and balance. Tallow provides fundamental skin support that deeply hydrates… I’m convinced it’s better than any other product out there in the market. It truly works.

When looking for tallow, always stick with grass-fed and with minimal ingredients.

My skin looks and feels better after making the shift to tallow… and I’ll never go back. Have you tried tallow yet?
